Pro-Bel Appoints Dave Collins as Chief Engineer
Reading, UK – 29 June 2006: Pro-Bel, the premier manufacturer and supplier of routing switchers, signal processing, master control, automation and control and monitoring technologies, has followed up the recent creation of the customer service-focused Solutions Group with the announcement that it has appointed Dave Collins as Chief Engineer.
Collins, who has been with Pro-Bel for 18 years joining as a Project Engineer, has most recently been tasked with managing the automation development and contracts management team. He has worked both on and offsite and for the company on a huge range of projects for a wide range of customers. Collins’ vast industry experience sees him ideally positioned to fulfil the role of Chief Engineer.
Collins explains, “The role is worldwide and completely focused on the technology side of the company, continuing our aim to develop products that help drive our customers forward in what is a time of great change in our industry”
Collins will continue the company’s defined development path of bringing together its products under a common control platform, allowing operators clear and concise access to the system functions. He is managing four engineering product groups within the company: Morpheus Automation, Vistek Modular Infrastructure, Routing/Master Control and Morpheus Control/Monitoring products.
