Pro-Bel Extends Latin American Support with Office Opening
Reading, UK - 11 November 2005: Pro-Bel, the premier manufacturer and supplier of routing switchers, signal processing, master control, automation and workflow technologies, announced today the opening of an office in Latin America to extend its support to the company’s already strong dealer network and to assist in actively pursuing new market opportunities.
The office, based in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, is already operational and is headed up by Victor Porter. Porter, who was born in Brazil, has an extensive professional history in the broadcast industry and speaks both Spanish and Portuguese fluently. He has been looking after the Latin American market for Pro-Bel for the past 18 months from the company’s UK base. Immediately prior to that position he was UK Sales Manager for Quartz having already worked for Pro-Bel in the late 1990s. He has also worked extensively in both Spain and Portugal.
Porter adds, “This is a tremendous opportunity for myself and for Pro-Bel. Through our dealer network we are already highly active across South America and with my presence here, we will be able to offer extended dealer and customer support.”
