Pro-Bel on a Roll in Switzerland
Reading, UK – 10th October 2006: Ringier TV, highly regarded Swiss production company that supplies programming and content to a wide range of channels, has extended its relationship with Pro-Bel with the purchase and installation of a new 128 x 128 Sirius router and Aurora router control.
Supplied by Pro-Bel’s Swiss partner Z&B Video, the technology has been acquired in order for Ringier TV to supply 10 sports channels to Bluewin TV and Teleclub (a pay-TV channel) on a daily basis. Ringier has been a Pro-Bel customer since its inception in the mid-80s. With its new Aurora router control, the new and existing routers can be interconnected – using the tieline option - allowing a massively flexible system with some 350 in and outs.
Pro-Bel has been selected not only for its performance and cost-effectiveness but for its reliability – the first router, bought in 1987, is still in operation today.
