The Pro-Bel MADI system provides the ultimate answer to the most challenging audio routing applications: audio distribution spanning buildings, very large I/O needs yet little available space, mixed AES/analogue environment, rapid future growth, and fault tolerant requirements. As a TDM-based router it achieves ultra density by encoding 56 mono or 28 stereo signals into one MADI signal for distribution on a single coaxial or fiber optic cable! The central Eclipse-based MADI router fits 1008 x 896, 1904 x 448, 3696 x 224 or 7280 x 112 equivalent mono router in just 7RU. 3RU encoder & decoder frames provide conversion between AES and/or analog I/O to/from MADI. You specify AES or analogue on individual inputs and outputs. This architecture permits exceptional flexibility, uninterrupted field expansion and non-blocked switching. MADI: it stands up to rigorous routing demands untouchable by other solutions
